Susanna and Gordon Carter live on site at Windarra with their two children Zoe and Jonah and Groodle pup Alfie. Originally from Brisbane they moved to Tasmania over 3 years ago and fell in love with the natural beauty of Launceston. They love hosting people, making them feel at home and sharing their knowledge and love of Tasmania. When they are not on site at Windarra on High you will find them exploring the untouched nature of Tasmania or visiting local treasures to be able to share with their guests.

Jeff and Cathy Charlesworth have made Brisbane Australia home after immigrating from Canada in 1997. Their interest in hospitality comes from years of hosting people, firstly in their hotel in a small rural town in Canada and then owning and operating a chain of over 20 fast food outlets with 300 employees in Queensland. Jeff and Cathy take great pleasure in traveling and have explored many hidden and interesting destinations across the globe. When they stumbled across Windarra on High after a trip to Launceston they knew it was the ideal place to offer travellers near and far a taste of Tassie and a peaceful home away from home.
