Rm 6 - The Elizabeth Room

This lovely cosy room says relax from the gorgeous little fireplace to the lush green colour palate. From this perfect vantage point you can enjoy city views with the mountains beyond day or night. The room is well equipped with flat screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities, free WiFi, as well as your own ensuite.  Please be sure to take note of the antique bird prints over the bed by artist and illustrator, Elizabeth Gould, who spent time in Australia during the 1800’s with her husband naturalist John Gould. Elizabeth drew from sight hundreds of species of birds for her husband’s publication Birds of Australia. This room is a tribute to her love for our Australian Flora and Fauna. She also befriended the well-known Lady Jane Franklin who the room just down the hall is named after.
